03How the squad model works

More team, more time, every week.

Each role is a share of a full-time week (about 40 hours). Set 60% web development and 20% project management and you get roughly 24 and 8 hours weekly. Add roles or raise percentages and your capacity grows.

04Frameworks & stack

The tools we build with.

We choose boring, well-supported technology that your next engineer can read, and we're upfront when something else fits better.

Fast, accessible interfaces that search engines and people both like.

  • Next.jsApp Router, SSR, SSG
  • ReactComponent architecture
  • TypeScriptTyped end to end
  • Tailwind CSSDesign systems
  • Framer MotionInteraction & motion
  • Radix UI / shadcnAccessible primitives

05Principles

How we think about the work.

  • 1

    Senior people do the work

We stay small deliberately. The engineer who scopes your project is the one who builds it, which keeps communication short and decisions fast.

  • 2

    Show, don't report

Progress is a working demo every week, not a status deck. If something drifts off track you see it in software, early.

  • 3

    Leave the client in control

Your code, your accounts, your documentation. We would rather earn the next project than trap you in this one.

  • 4

Say no to the wrong project

If a spreadsheet, an off-the-shelf tool or a smaller scope solves the problem, we'll tell you, even when it means a smaller engagement.

08Questions

About TreeHex.

Where is TreeHex based?+

TREEHEX LLC is registered in Sheridan, Wyoming (30 N Gould Street, 82801). We deliver remotely to clients across the United States and in Norway.

What technologies does TreeHex use?+

Most web work is Next.js, React and TypeScript on Node.js or Python backends with PostgreSQL. Mobile is Flutter or React Native. AI work uses LLM APIs, retrieval pipelines and PyTorch or scikit-learn for custom models, deployed on Vercel or AWS with CI/CD.

How big is the team?+

Deliberately small and senior. Projects are led by an engineer who writes code, supported by a few strong specialists, so you never manage a crowd of juniors.

Who owns the code?+

You do. Repositories, cloud accounts, designs and documentation are created under your organization or transferred at handover, under a US contract with IP assignment.
